Tyler Hargrave has been called the “Swiss Army Knife” of politics. He joins ColdSpark as our Vice President of Digital with a wide array of experiences in grassroots, fundraising, and online strategy. Tyler got his start in politics as a teenager, putting up yard signs for a local mayoral candidate in his hometown of Houston. Before he knew it, he was still putting up yard signs on the dusty plains of the panhandle while getting his degree from Texas Tech.
Over the years, he would rise through the campaign ranks from volunteering, to coordinating, to managing, to consulting … learning, of course, that he never wants to put up yard signs again. From County Commissioners to Congressionals, ballot initiatives to public affairs, he has managed record-setting and photo-finish victories across Texas and throughout the country, including two of Congressman Will Hurd’s razor-thin wins.
A political digital geek before it was cool, Tyler has a passion for immersing himself in campaigns. Using data to develop new communication and marketing techniques, his work has earned multiple awards from a jury of his peers, and lead his clients to dollars, votes and victories. Whether it’s professional or personal, Tyler doesn’t do things half-way. A true Texan, he loves the outdoors: hunting, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, kayaking, you name it. And when political sparing and mother nature aren’t challenging enough, his toddler son and birddog keep him on his toes.
