ColdSpark is excited to announce that Kerry McConnon, one of Washington, D.C.’s most seasoned and consistently effective public affairs strategists, is joining as a partner. Kerry will focus on expanding ColdSpark’s robust public affairs offerings and D.C. presence.
About Kerry McConnon:
Kerry is best known as one of the founding partners of DDC Public Affairs, where he spent more than two decades building the firm into one of the country’s preeminent public affairs agencies.
At DDC, he built client partnerships and led high-impact campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, major trade associations, and national advocacy organizations.
In recent years, Kerry has continued to advise and support emerging firms and initiatives in the public affairs space, applying his experience in business development, market positioning, and organizational growth.
Throughout his career, Kerry has focused on aligning public affairs strategy with execution — helping organizations navigate complex political, regulatory, and reputational challenges while delivering measurable results. His work spans corporate advocacy, issue management, coalition building, and strategic communications across federal, state, and local environments.
