ColdSpark started with two people in a tiny office. Our founding partners, Mark Harris and Mike DeVanney, wanted to create a different kind of political agency, an agency that would treat clients’ campaigns like their own. An agency that would focus on people and problem solving. They believed that candidates don’t need another consultant; they need a partner. In 2011, ColdSpark was born.
Today, we’re more than 35 employees strong, with a national footprint having worked in 48 states. We’ve run too many campaigns to count—from presidential super PACs to the most expensive U.S. Senate race in history (twice!) to local races. We’ve helped trade associations and organizations hone their messages, raised millions of dollars through digital fundraising, and placed op-eds in major newspapers across the country. Oh, and we’ve had a great time doing it. We’re not bragging (okay, maybe just a little), but we are definitely proud of what we’ve accomplished.
