Ashley started her career as a local morning news anchor before trading the 2 a.m. wake-up call to follow her passion for politics. She then served as communications director for Nevada Lieutenant Governor Mark Hutchison, where she played a key role in shaping all forms of messaging, including speeches and editorials. From city councils to Congress, her passion for writing has helped campaigns of all sizes move the needle with meaningful messaging.
Ashley has a master’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University—making her a diehard Orange fan. She also earned a bachelor’s degree at Pepperdine University and holds a certificate from the LBJ Women’s Campaign School at The University of Texas at Austin.
When she isn’t writing fundraising emails, Ashley keeps busy as a proud Air Force wife and mother of three. Home is wherever the military takes them, which is currently among the saguaros in sunny Arizona!
