Caroline (Tarwid) Kaardal served as the Deputy Digital Director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee during the 2024 election cycle where she oversaw all digital fundraising- delivering multiple fundraising records, including being the top online fundraiser of all national campaign committees. During her 4 year tenure at the NRSC, over $200M was raised in grassroots donations.
Caroline worked on Donald J. Trump’s 2020 campaign where she headed the GOTV and persuasion efforts on peer-to-peer text messaging and served as Press Secretary for Congressman Pete Stauber’s 2018 Congressional campaign which flipped an open seat from blue to red. Caroline has also spent time on the Hill working in Senator Mark Kirk, Congressman Phil Roe and Congressman Pete Stauber’s congressional offices.
She is an Illinois native, a proud University of Illinois graduate and currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband, Sam and cat, Winnie.
