Jess Kuntz served as a Foreign Service Officer in the U.S. Department of State from 2017-2023, with assignments in Tel Aviv, London, the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, and the Bureau of International Organization Affairs. Jess also has expertise in tech policy and AI governance, having worked as the Policy Director at the University of Pittsburgh Institute for Cyber Law, Policy, and Security. She also worked as an Associate Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group, advising clients on emerging technology policy. Her writing has been published by CNN, Tech Policy Press and The Los Angeles Times. Jess is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and the University of Pittsburgh.
Jess is a Pittsburgh native and boomerang, by way of DC, New York, Croatia, Bosnia, Tel Aviv and London.
