John Jackson serves as Senior Vice President at ColdSpark, where he helps political, public affairs, and advocacy clients develop winning strategies, build influential coalitions, engage key stakeholders, and navigate complex political environments.
Born and raised in Texas, John has spent his career in politics, campaigns, and public affairs. He led campaign efforts for Governor Greg Abbott and helped oversee large-scale political and grassroots operations across Texas. He also managed Senator John Cornyn’s successful 2020 re-election campaign and has built relationships with candidates, elected officials, donors, grassroots leaders, and advocacy organizations throughout the country. His experience includes campaign management, voter contact operations, coalition building, grassroots mobilization, fundraising, strategic communications, and political strategy.
In addition to his campaign experience, John has worked with corporate leaders, public affairs teams, trade associations, and advocacy organizations on stakeholder engagement, coalition development, and public policy initiatives. His background provides a unique understanding of how political, legislative, and public affairs efforts intersect and how organizations can effectively build support for their priorities.
At ColdSpark, John focuses on helping clients influence public opinion, build coalitions, engage decision-makers, and achieve results through integrated political, public affairs, and communications strategies. John and his wife, Caity, live in the Texas Hill Country with their three children and their dog, Winnie.
