Mark is one of the most sought-after consultants in politics, working on some of the biggest and most expensive races across the country. In 2024, he led Dave McCormick to a historic victory over Democratic Senator Bob Casey. He also oversaw Nikki Haley’s $80 million super PAC. In 2010 and 2016, he helped elect and reelect Pat Toomey to the U.S. Senate in races no one thought were winnable. Mark also counts Rep. Byron Donalds, Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, Rep. Russ Fulcher, former Gov. Bruce Rauner, Marco Rubio’s presidential super PAC, and Attorney General J.B. McCuskey as clients.
In 2011, Mark co-founded ColdSpark in his native Pittsburgh. Mark is a numbers-driven political analyst, self-confessed data nerd, and well-regarded pollster in his own right. When he’s not hopelessly rooting for his Pittsburgh Pirates, Mark is a national strategist, ad maker, and grassroots expert.
Mark lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Krista, and their four children, Abigail, Davin, Clare, and Lucy.
