Ryan Bonifay joined ColdSpark after spending the 2022 cycle at the Republican National Committee. During his time at the Republican National Committee, he served as one of the Regional Analytics Directors covering five states: North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Kentucky. In this role, Bonifay helped create targeted universes of voters and data-driven strategies for successful campaigns including the elections of Gov. Glenn Youngkin in Virginia and U.S. Senator Ted Budd in North Carolina. Prior to serving as Regional Analytics Director, Bonifay served as the RNC State Director in North Carolina during the successful 2020 election cycle re-electing U.S. Senator Thom Tillis, helping Republicans take back the State Supreme Court, and winning the state for President Donald J. Trump. Prior to 2020, Bonifay served as the Data Director for Engage Texas and Texans for Greg Abbott, RNC State Data Director for North Carolina, and Data Director for U.S. Senator David Perdue.
Bonifay attended the University of Alabama and graduated with a B.S. in Marketing and Political Science. Originally from Pittsburgh, he now lives in Lexington, North Carolina with his wife Catherine and their dog, Betsy.
