Ashley started her career as a morning news anchor before turning in the 2 a.m. wake-up call to follow her passion for politics. She then worked as communications director for Nevada Lieutenant Governor Mark Hutchison, where she played a key role in shaping all forms of messaging and connecting with constituents. Prior to joining the ColdSpark team, she spent several years as a freelance writer, filling a variety of content requests for municipal campaigns and elected officials.
Ashley has a master’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University—making her a diehard Orange fan. That said, she’s also a proud alumnus of Pepperdine University in sunny Malibu, California.
At home, Ashley is a mother of two and a military spouse. She has lost count of how many moves they’ve made, but home is wherever the Air Force takes them!
