Although originally from Tennessee, Lauren Cummings considers herself a native of North Carolina, having lived throughout the Tar Heel state for most of her life. Lauren graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2018 with a degree in Anthropology. It was during this time that she became involved in her local College Republican chapter and her interest in politics grew. In 2021, she became the Field Director for Representative Patrick McHenry’s congressional campaign and has since worked on a number of down-ballot campaigns. Most recently, she served as Campaign Manager for Representative Richard Hudson.
When she isn’t working on campaigns or organizing her local Young Republican or Republican Women’s groups, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, Austin, and their two dogs, Cara and Blue.
